Privacy policy

Short version: we don't want your data.

What we collect

One search, all our tools

This site is part of the Piggyback Media family of comparison tools (5G Speed Estimator, Piggyback Checker, Fibre Arrival, eSIM Checker, Energy Switch Checker, Bank Switch Bonus). So you don't have to retype, a postcode you search may be carried to another of our own tools in the link when you click between them — it travels in the web address only, all our tools are run by the same operator under this same policy, and it is never passed to any third party. The optional "remember my last search" consent works per-site and stays in your own browser.

What we don't do

Consent for browser storage

The optional last-search memory only operates if you choose "Remember it" on the banner. Choosing "No thanks" stores only that choice (so we don't ask again) and nothing else. You can change your mind any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Third parties

Postcode lookups use the open postcodes.io API. Coverage data is Ofcom open data processed on our own server. If you click through to a mobile network, that network — and for affiliate links, Awin or Impact, who track the referral — will set cookies under their own privacy policies. Affiliate links are marked sponsored and disclosed on the page; they cost you nothing.

Who we are and your rights (UK GDPR)

This site and the Piggyback Media family of tools are operated by Austin Pickering as data controller. Lawful bases: consent for the optional browser storage; legitimate interests for anonymous click logging and security server logs. Click logs contain no personal data and are kept only for reconciling affiliate commissions; security logs rotate automatically. You have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold (which is, by design, essentially none), to object to processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
